She wasn’t sure about me at first.

Honestly? Fair.

So we didn’t push it.

We followed her lead. We took a snack break with some inner peas. We investigated some dirt and sticks with the kind of focus only a small human can bring to dirt
Every once in a while, I get to show up to a wedding with a slightly different job.

Most of the time I’m the one leading the day — building the timeline, guiding the portraits, holding the story from start to finish.

But sometimes I ste
Some images shift completely depending on the edit.
Color pulls you into the landscape.
Black and white pulls you into the feeling.

@jkell30 resting in the tall grasses is still one of my favorite frames I’ve made out here.

So now you decide&
The Hansen’s don’t show up to “take photos.”

They show up as themselves.

Walking through the city.
Laughing at inside jokes.
Holding hands without being told to.
Letting the kids move, explore, lean in close.

And every time
